ST XAVIERS UNIVERSITY KOLKATA JOURNAL OF INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal published annually by St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. Committed to the highest standard of excellence in interdisciplinary research, and inspired by the values of our cherished institution, issues of ST XAVIERS UNIVERSITY KOLKATA JOURNAL OF INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH shall comprise of research articles, reviews, case studies, and critical commentaries. Contributions to our journal are solicited from St. Xavier’s faculty and students, as well as from the broader academic community in India and abroad. We look forward to publishing cutting-edge research exploring the following fields as well as their interstices: English, Economics, Psychology, Social Work, Mass Communication, Commerce and Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, and Law.
Two volumes of the journal have been published so far, in 2023 and 2024 respectively. The ISSN (Print) number for the journal is 2584-055X. The journal levies no submission/publication charges for publishing papers. It is published once a year by the St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, Action Area III, B, Newtown, Kolkata, West Bengal- 700160. The journal's format is both print and online. We adhere to strict quality-control procedures, including a double-blind peer-review process and plagiarism detection through Turnitin.
UGC recommends publishing papers in either peer-reviewed journals (refereed journals), or in the journals approved by UGC-CARE, or journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science. ST XAVIERS UNIVERSITY KOLKATA JOURNAL OF INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH is a peer-reviewed journal and therefore fitting with UGC’s recommendations.
